Friday, Sept. 8: Welcome Hike
Elena Gallegos Open Space
For anyone who is around Friday morning, we’ll be going on an out-and-back hike in the Sandias. We’ll meet at the Elena Gallegos Open Space Parking lot at 9 AM. (That should come up on Google Maps if you search for it; it’s right by the Pino Trailhead.) Please bring water—it’s hot and dry in the Sandias! If you need a ride to the hike, let us know and we can probably find a guest to pick you up.
Friday, Sept. 8: Welcome Dinner
Please join us for beer and BBQ on Friday night as we welcome everyone to the beautiful city of Albuquerque. Transportation to and from Los Poblanos will be provided—the shuttle will leave Los Poblanos at 5:30 PM and will leave Marble around 9 PM. Feel free to stop by for a shorter period of time! It’s an easy drive (or Uber) from Los Poblanos.
Please note that the event will be on a rooftop deck that is up a flight of stairs. (Attire is casual.)
Saturday, Sept. 9: Breakfast Bike Ride
Start at Los Poblanos Inn; End at Bike In Coffee
We’ll be biking to the aptly named Bike In Coffee—one of our favorite breakfast spots in Albuquerque! The ride is a little under 5 miles each way on a (quite flat) bike path, but feel free to meet us there (or sit this one out) if you’re not in the mood. We’ll provide bikes; If you’re interested in joining for the biking bit, please RSVP so we can make sure that we have enough!
Saturday, Sept. 9: Ceremony & Reception
Los Poblanos Inn
The main event! We’re doing the thing. Then join us for dinner, drinks, and dancing feat. DJ Yung Joc.
Wear whatever you want. We’ll look good; you should too. (If more guidance is helpful, “cocktail” is a safe bet. But don’t let that constrain you!) When planning your outfit, bear in mind that the wedding will be outside and it will almost certainly be hot.
Sunday, Sept. 10: Breakfast
Los Poblanos Inn
Swing by for coffee and a light breakfast before you head home.
